As an Android user, you would know how important the Play Store really is.
The basic functionality of the phone is greatly dependent on the apps that we all love to download on the Play Store.
Functionality aside, you know you would be bored to death if you didn’t have a portable device where you could pass your time say, on your commute to work. For Those Who have a Credit Card Attached to Google Play Store
If at any point in time, you attached your credit or debit card to the Play Store, then this solution is for you. The most common error that users who have attached their credit card to Google Wallet face are RPC: S-7: AEC-0 error
To fix this error, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Open Google Wallet.
Step 2: In the Menu, which shows as 4 small lines, tap on the Account option
Step 3: Scroll down till you find Payment Methods, after choosing that, choose More Payment Settings
Step 4: Find the Payment method you want to remove. If you have multiple cards attached, you may want to remove all of them.
Step 5: You can do so my choosing the Card Details and click on Remove Card.
The payment method will now be removed from Google Payments. Restart your phone and check back with Google Store to see if the error is fixed.
Alternatively, you can remove your linked cards by visiting the Google Wallet Website.
For Those Who Don’t Have a Credit Card Attached to the Google Play Store
For those of you who don’t have a credit card attached to Google Wallet and are experiencing this problem, the following solutions should help you fix the problem. The most common error number users have reported which this method should fix is [DF-DFERH-01]
Step 1: Open the Settings application on your phone.
Step 2: Select the Apps option within the settings.
Step 3: Swipe the top menu to the left and you will see a list of apps listed under All
Step 4: Scroll down and find the Google Play Services Framework and tap on it
Step 5: Select Clear Data and Clear Cache
Go back to the Google Play Store and check if the error has been fixed. If it has, give yourself a pat on your back, because you have actively solved the problem all by yourself and you should be proud of it!
Help! The Above Steps Still Didn’t Work!
