Razer Core X Chroma Drivers, Software, Setup & Manual Support. The Core X Chroma functions as a hub port and is basically a dock. Along the back, you will find four USB 3.1 Type-A ports and a gigabit Ethernet jack. You can disconnect the laptop from an external monitor, several peripherals, and a wired network connection via a single cable (Thunderbolt 3).
The Core X Chroma comes with a 700W power supply, which makes it 50W stronger than what is included with the older Core attachments. This limits the use of GPU power installed at 500W, even though no GPU is supported close to taking full advantage of that allowance. However, extra wattage is appreciated because it has four USB 3.1 ports on its back that can be used for peripherals such as a mouse and keyboard.
The Razer Synapse utility allows you to change the brightness and when (or if) the lighting effect turns off. You can choose from standard lighting effects, or choose the Advanced Effects option to open Chroma Studio, which is shown here, to program beautiful lights.
