This is set aside to save the user’s desk space and has a lighted button and can be adjusted to be offered for gaming in dim lighting conditions. Mechanical parts are almost entirely redundant – at least from the perspective of functionality. They are there to give the “click” bumps on these buttons and the crisp sound. That said, the two parts are perfectly balanced together; try as hard as you can, we can’t act on any key without an initial click. It is possible to hold the key under the bump and act repeatedly, even though the switch is spring, so this is not something that will happen unless you really try it.
The Razer Huntsman keyboard is a game chain with this design, because it has this optical sensor in each switch. This allows the main signals to be sent to the computer at the speed of light. Compared to traditional keyboards, the way it works is to have a moving part under each key. After the user presses a button, a beam of light passes through the switch bar and actuation occurs. This sends a signal to the user’s computer and executes their commands.

The black base reflects very little backward light, and what reflects it is quite direct, giving the base a square edge lock rather than some diffuse rainbow effect. The large top edge of the switch means there is little room for the LED, but Razer is quite generous with photons, including a bright rectangular dot at the top of each button.
My Razer product doesn’t work at startup after a cold start, what should I do?
Make sure the USB port is not in hibernation mode.
- Open Windows Device Manager and click the arrow next to “Universal Serial Bus Controllers”.
- Right-click on the Root Hub and select “Properties.”
- Click the “Power Management” tab and make sure that “Allow computer to turn off this device to save power” is checked.
- Continue to do this under each Root Hub.
